Oh Baby

Randy Bresnik, one of the STS-129 astronauts, is a dad! His wife gave birth to a girl, their second kid, last night and this morning we all got bubble gum cigars as we sat on console. I have not tried it yet, but my FDO counterparts assured me that the gum was...not good. But you take what you can get. Twenty five years ago they would have been real, but despite the precedent set by the early days of spaceflight, there hasn't been any smoking in Mission Control in years!
