In answer to Becca's question...here, in no particular order, are some things I'd consider doing if the shuttle program ended tomorrow, with a long hiatus before flying something new:

• Go back to school for a web/design/multimedia/graphics degree.
• Go to journalism school.
• Move to a nice location that happens to be lacking a race photography business. Start one.
• Move to a nice location that happens to be lacking a good running store. Open one.
• Study like I'm back in school and then re-apply to Blue Origin. Or try another space startup.
• Get a job with one of the random companies that seem cool to me, like Life is Good, Title 9 Sports, or Rodale (publisher of Runner's World and Backpacker).
• Think about joining the Peace Corps.
